I moved from Canada to East Hunsbury in 2021 with my husband, 3 children and 2 dogs. We fell in love, straight away, with the walking paths, parks and just how green everything was. We loved how there was a post office, surgery, shopping centre, leisure centre and restaurant, all within walking distance. After three years in the neighbourhood, we are settled, we feel safe, we have a great community; this now feels like home. In my spare time, I am an avid cyclist and runner and get by on my swims to make me a triathlete. My kids play hockey, football and rugby locally and we frequent the golf course and the Northampton bike park.

After a 20+ years in busy corporate life, I've taken a different path since moving to the UK and am excited to be working with the Parish on ways to continue building our community to be a great place to live, work and play.

I look forward to being an active member of the Parish Council.

Alison was co-opted to the Council in May 2024, and is a member of the Community Engagement and Resources Committees.
