Born and raised in the West London Borough of Ealing and moved to Northampton in 1997. He has three children all presently living in East Hunsbury.

Bob is a member of Northants CCC and umpired in the Northants Cricket League for eleven years. He is a member of Greenpeace and a life member of the Selborne Society and CAMRA.

Bob is an active member of East Hunsbury Seniors Club.

Bob was elected to the council in May 2021 and is a member of the Community Engagement Committee, and the Chairman of the Parks & Open Spaces Committee.
