Police are warning about the rise in opportunist crime

Dear Residents.

Due to the recent rise in opportunist crime, we are asking that you be more vigilant around your home and vehicles.

Garages are especially high at the moment for these crimes, make sure they are locked, put something in front of doors to stop them being opened.

Lock all doors and windows to your property even if you are home, you can still become a statistic.

Most of all please do not leave any items on show, in vehicle, in your home even in your gardens they are all a target.
