East Hunsbury Seniors Club began in December 2016 when the parish council hosted a Christmas Lunch at The Collingtree pub for over 65's living in the parish. More than 20 seniors attended that lunch and all of them were keen to attend a regular club in the future, and so East Hunsbury Seniors Club was born!

The group has flourished and has nearly 300 members who enjoy a range of activities.

The Seniors Club is free to join, but there are some charges applied to some activities, to help with budgeting for this large and vibrant group. Once you're a member you'll be able to join the regular events and other activities, including our popular coffee mornings.

We also encourage members to run their own activities, where they have the skills to do so, and we are delighted to support member's own interests and talents.

In recent years, this has led to the formation of Senior Stollers, a Pétanque group, Crafty Sessions, History Crew, Book Club. The sessions are supported by the parish council, but led by community members themselves.

Please note that the sub-groups are run by volunteers, who will need to have email/telephone information for participants. When you join any groups, your information will be shared with the lead volunteer.
